The Estate

After exploring more than 100 sites over a four-year period, spanning both the eastern and western shores of Phuket, this beautiful and spiritual land found us in 2015.

Its captivating energy was immediate. We knew, almost instinctively, that this remarkable property would become the home of our dream: The Vanderbilt Estate.

Our vision was to create Asia’s first English estate, a harmonious fusion of timeless Georgian elegance and the natural beauty of Phuket. At its heart would stand an authentic Georgian mansion, surrounded by a collection of thoughtfully designed gardens, each distinct in character yet seamlessly connected, while paying the utmost respect to the land and its extraordinary surroundings.

Drawing upon the owner’s previous experience of creating a landmark Georgian residence in London, together with the expertise of a distinguished London architect, the journey began.
